General information about the apartments
Our apartments are all located in the historic centre of the city, just meters from Malaga’s main sights as well as to the main public transports. The Picasso Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the Cathedral, the Cervantes Theatre, Gibralfaro Castle, are just some of the monuments located minutes away from our apartments. The nearest beach – Playa de la Malagueta – is only a 20-25 minute walk from most properties.
Calle Larios, the main commercial street is located at about 5 minutes walking distance.
What is the capacity of Malagaflat’s apartments?
We have a wide range of properties, from studios for 2 people to one with 5 rooms for up to 8 persons.
We also have a building with 6 studios which add up to a total capacity of 14 persons.

The price is per person or per apartment?
The price is per apartment based on a minimum stay of 2 persons. Over 2 persons, each extra person pays an additional amount per day. This extra amount depends on the property and the season.
The price includes the supply of hot and cold water, electricity, gas (if applicable) and heating.
What is the minimum occupation period?
Summer 2/7-15/9: 5 nights
Christmas 22/12- 8/1 and Easter: 4 nights
Other dates: 3 nights
Do I have to pay for the departure cleaning?
We appreciate our customers to be careful and maintain a hygienic state of the property during their stay; but in any case, the departure cleaning is an obligatory one-time charge, which varies depending on the size of the property.
YES, all our properties have towels and sheets, if the period of the reservation exceeds 10 days, we will include a change of sheets and towels.
How are the apartments equipped?
All the apartments are equipped with heating and air conditioning. The kitchens are fully equipped and furnished with all the necessary utensils for your stay: refrigerator, microwave and / or oven, electric hob, cooking utensils, toaster, pots and pans, washing and drying, cutlery and crockery. That is the minimum equipment featured in our properties, some of them also have a blender, juicer, iron, dishwasher, etc.If you have a specific need, please let us know to confirm whether the property includes that, and if not; we might be able to get it during your stay.
Do all your apartments have WIFI?
Yes, and it is free.
Do the buildings where the apartments are located have elevators?The vast majority of our properties are located in buildings with elevators; however, we have some apartments in buildings without elevators. These apartments are often located in emblematic buildings in the old town of Malaga and are included for its special charm and / or location.Details regarding this issue can be found in the description of each property.
Can I smoke in the apartments?
In our properties smoking is permitted, but we appreciate if customers, as a consideration to non-smokers, do so by the windows or the terraces / balconies in those apartments that have such.
Am I allowed to bring pets to the apartments?
Only some properties accept pets and it also depends on the size / weight / breed. Please contact us for confirmation; we will need a detailed description of the pet.
Are the apartments located in secure areas?
Our properties are located in the old quarter of the city in safe areas; however you must take the usual precautions you would take in any other city centre.
Are the apartments suitable for handicapped?
Only some of our properties are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs.

Do the apartments have parking?
Some apartments have parking in the building where the property is located and in other cases we might be able to get a private parking space close by.
The parking space is always optional and due to extra charge (15 € / day ).
Note that in the historical centre of Malaga, as in other urban centres, parking is quite limited and it’s not easy to find a free parking near the apartments.
Check in / check out
Where do I collect the keys to the property? Key collection takes place in the property unless either party indicates otherwise; the arrival time set by the client upon confirmation with Malagaflat. Our check-in time is from 10.00 to 20.30 pm, if you are arriving outside these hours, there would be no problem but there is a surcharge of 25 €, and between 24.00 and 10.00 the extra charge is 35 €. Our Airport transfer service has an extra charge of 10 € between 00 – 08 o’clock.
Officially, the check in time will be starting at 14.00 h. If you need to check in before, please let us know and if the property is ready, meaning that there is no check out on the same day, we have no problem in allowing the entry before the stipulated time.
Officially, the check out time would be 12.00 pm. If you wish to leave later, please let us know in advance or at arrival if possible. If there is no entry on the departure day we will have no problem in allowing the departure after the stipulated time.
We kindly urge you to ensure that you have turned off all the electronic equipment (such as air conditioning, coffee makers, cooker, etc.) as well as checking that faucets and windows ARE closed at departure.
Stays over 10 days: 10% off
Stays over 20 days: 20% off
Stays over 30 days: 30% off
Use and Responsabilities
Malagaflat will provide the Customer the apartment in a clean and precise order, so that the client can access it at that time.
The Customer shall immediately notify Malagaflat of any damage caused on the apartment or on any of its equipment.
The Customer shall not undertake furniture renovation or major repairs in the apartment.
The Customer may not stay in the apartment more than the number of persons allowed by Malagaflat.
The Customer shall not use the apartment for any purpose other than the one agreed here, subletting the apartment is prohibited.
No unauthorized type of parties or gatherings that could disrupt the rest or tranquillity of our clients and / or neighboring properties are allowed.
The Customer shall not carry out activities or conduct contrary to the decency and standards of hygiene or normal behaviour.
Responsibility for arrival day later than the date of entry or early departure:
The Customer is not entitled to any refund in the event that one check in a day or days later than the official date of entry. Nor will the Customer be entitled to reimbursement for leaving the apartment before the end of the contracted stay as long as the reasons are not caused by Malagaflat.
Malagaflat is not be liable for damage, loss or theft of any property brought into the apartment by the Customer.
Malagaflat, its affiliates and its information providers shall not be liable or deemed in default or noncompliance for any delay or failure in performance or interruption in the content delivery on Malagaflat, resulting directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to failures in electronic or mechanical equipment or communication lines, telephone or other interconnect problems, computer viruses, unauthorized access, theft, operator errors, severe weather, earthquakes or natural disasters strikes or other labour problems, wars or governmental restrictions.
Malagaflat requires a deposit to confirm the reservation, both for long term or short term stays, of 30% of the total of the reservation.
Malagaflat requires a Security Deposit (bond) upon receiving the keys which is payable in cash at arrival.
Short stays: A deposit which ranges from 150.00 € to 300.00 € depending on the property reserved.
Long stays: A deposit will be required proportional to the total rent.
The security deposit is refundable at your departure as long as all is in the same conditions as it was delivered and your behaviour during your stay meets the communities rules on the use of common areas. Customer is responsible for any damage or loss incurred in the apartment. For damages in the apartment excessing the amount of security deposit (bond), the Customer authorizes Kaysa Vacacional S.C. to charge them in the credit card provided by the customer when making the reservation.

This website is owned and operated by Kaysavacacional SC
This contract is considered as agreed in Spain. The Spanish law governs this contract. The contracting parties expressly and voluntarily submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Málaga (Spain), and exclude the intervention of the courts of any other country.
CANCELLATIONS AND / OR CHANGES IN RESERVE
The following rules apply:
- For cancellations up to 90 days before the start of the holiday, 20% deposit will be refunded in full fewer 30 euros in respect of the handling fee.
- For cancellations less than 90 days before the start of the holiday, no refund of deposit.
- For cancellations from three days before the commencement of the rental or in case of no show, will charge your credit card the total amount of the reserve.
- For changes made within 90 days before the start of rent, will not be charged.
- For changes made less than 90 days before the beginning of the rental Malagaflat reserves the right to study their performance in each case.
Legal Notice and Privacy
At Kaysavacacional (malagaflat.com) we have adapted our information system to the requirements of the Organic Law 15/1999, of Protection of Personal Data (Act), and implementing regulations. And this, in order to ensure proper treatment and confidentiality of the information that we get from customers and users, providing a higher quality service, in addition to comply with legislation whose offense is punishable with significant financial penalties.
So on one hand we inform you that your personal data have been or will be included in a file owned by Kaysavacacional SC conveniently registered in the General Registry of Data Protection. The purpose of this file is the maintenance of the commercial relationship as well as to inform you of new services.
On the other hand, among the obligations under the Data Protection Act highlights provided in Article 12, which regulates access to data by third parties, establishing the need to formalize a contract which govern the obligations of such access.
At the discretion of the Data Protection Agency, which is responsible for ensuring compliance with this legislation, Internet service providers must sign these contracts with those customers who, by virtue of the services provided, access to their data.
Finally, and although it will be covered by that contract, we inform you that we only treat the data for the purposes contracted with you (resolution of incidences and performing backup and recovery) without the apply or use to another purpose, nor communication (even for conservation) to others. Also note that the security measures implemented by Malagaflat to protect your files are on a basic level, because we assume that this is the level of sensitivity of the data handled, unless you tell us by writing and in a reliable way that you want the information to be treated as medium or high sensitive dates.
